Nanostructure

The structure of a material at the nanoscale, from 1 to 100 nm (1×10‑9 to 100×10‑9 m), corresponding to atomic, molecular, and crystalline scales. At this scale, materials exhibit physical, chemical and biological properties that may differ significantly from those observed at larger scales.
